Ear Themometers

 

Diatek Corporation and NASA developed the ear thermometer. The thermometer uses infrared technology to determine how much energy your ear drum is radiating. This same infrared technology is used to measure the temperature of stars and planets. Ear thermometers are used in hospitals and homes, providing a quicker temperature reading than a normal thermometer.
